All of the important people that we know have blogs (Sandy & Matt, Doug), so we decided to start one, too. Not sure where it will take us but we will be sharing our lives with you all as we move towards the future and get ready to (eventually) retire.
Topics that we will probably cover will include boat building, cooking, the dogs, house remodeling, gardening, books, music--stuff like that. If nothing else, it's a shared project that we're both looking forward to contributing to. Bruce likes to think he's documenting his thoughts for posterity. Cara just wants a place to post recipes so you all can try them.
Hope you'll join us from time to time to see how we're doing. (Thanks Herb and Dawn for suggesting we start one.) If you've read our kid's blogs, you know we have big shoes to fill!
